BRAND PHOTOSHOOT WITH HOLISTIC NUTRITIONIST AND FOUNDER VIVIAN TONG IN ATHENS

The Gaia Method
At the beginning of 2020, I had the pleasure of working with holistic nutritionist Vivian Tong to shoot her new branding photos in Athens, Greece. Vivian and I met some years ago through a mutual friend while we both vacationed in Palm Springs. She contacted me end of 2019 to set up a beautiful, natural photo shoot in Athens for her holistic brand, the Gaia Method.
The Gaia Method blends Eastern and Western medicine to support modern mothers, and Athens was the perfect backdrop for our branding photoshoot. The natural, ancient architecture of the city speaks to Vivian’s unique fusion of ancient wisdom and holistic nutrition and movement.
We split our time together into two full days of photography. Our first day together was spent shooting around the Acropolis with our three beautiful models. Our sets were specifically curated to be minimal, yet impactful. Each model wore a neutral satin dress, natural makeup and bare feet, which perfectly fit with the architecture of the Acropolis in the background.
Our second day of shooting focused on branding portraits for Vivian. We were so lucky to have so many beautiful and inspiring lifestyle and outdoor spaces to shoot in! Some of her photos were taken in her stunning Airbnb, and others were taken around the Acropolis. We styled Vivian’s brand photos to feel warm, holistic, and inviting, just like her brand. Her confidence and energy radiated off of her!
Working with Vivian to shoot her brand was a dream come true for me! Vivian’s work as a holistic nutritionist and her own pregnancy experience inspired her to create the Gaia Method. Under the Gaia Method, Vivian offers a blend of elevated nutrition and wellness courses to support modern mothers during pregnancy and postpartum. Her work combines ancient wisdom, expert-led movement, and holistic nutrition to help new mothers thrive during their transition to parenthood.
Working with Vivian and the Gaia Method to do such a special shoot was truly so lovely. It was so wonderful to be able to connect together again and work on such a remarkable shoot. I look forward to continuing to watch her brand and passion grow!
