Today I want to escort you into the weekend with some Paris Beauty ;) I had the honour to photograph Maija & Timo’s wedding last year in summer in Paris. We never met before just emailed and skyped but when we met for the first time on friday morning before the wedding for their engagement portriats it felt like we knew each other long time ago. Gosh was I excited when I got this booking, because it was a dream of mine to photograph a wedding in Paris at least once in a lifetime ;) And yes dreams come true as you can see here! And the best part was, I had my lovely friend Irene with me as a second shooter on that trip. We had quiet a few days of fun, long walks and many crêpes at the Palais Royal Café ;)
The ceremony was held in the church Saint-Honoré d’Eylau and the venue was in
Les Salons de l’Hôtel des Arts et Métiers. I loved Maija for the many deatils she had at her wedding and Timo for his stylish and elegant outfit, especially the hat, which is generation old.
From the bride: I met my fiancé, Timothée, 7 years ago when he was working as an expatriate in Finland. For what was supposed to be an 18 months mission for him in Finland became a 5 years adventure after we met.
After our years in Finland, we moved to Germany, to Erlangen for his work. This place remains special to us as we got engaged in Nurnberg in 2013. After two years in Germany, we decided to move back to his home town Paris and finally to prepare our wedding. Timothée works still with the same company
and I’m writing a blog “In my ballerines” for the biggest Finnish women magazine.
This wedding was featured on Hochzeitsguide here.
